The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chance Loses It, Disaster Ensues?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is dying to get back to the police force after a failed mission abroad. His team died and he has survivor’s guilt. He needs a distraction to get his mind back on track, and a baby might work. Voila, there is a baby he can bond with—his!

The baby has created while he was away on this mission, with Devon Hamilton’s sperm and Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) womb. His wife Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) took the lead, brooding over everyone until the baby arrived. But now that both Chance and baby Dominic are in town there is a bonding disconnect.

Chance just wants to go back to work, not change baby diapers. It’s not the best time to return to a dangerous line of work, because he has PTSD. His wife doesn’t think so should nor does his former partner Rey Rosales (Jordi Viluasuso).

Abby Newman is uneasy about the plan, especially since Chance doesn’t think he needs professional help. She called a counselor over to get advice on Chance. But Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) felt uncomfortable talking about Chance outside of his presence, but let her know therapy had to be his idea.

But Chance is hellbent on returning—what could possibly go wrong? He could become overwhelmed emotionally and then accidently kill someone or let a bag guy get away.
