Y&R Spoilers – Mental Spiral Gets Worse

Ordway told Soap Opera Digest that Abby’s situation will get much worse before it gets better. Abby has been prescribed anti-anxiety medicine by Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), which she wasn’t pleased about. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) also had Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) try to counsel Abby.

It is confirmed that during November sweeps, everyone’s efforts to help Abby will only make the situation worse. Head writer and co-executive producer Josh Griffith told SOD that it lead to Abby making some unexpected decisions and a funeral will be planned.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon and Abby are good friends and very close. Devon is also the donor that was used to help give Abby a baby. While Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) questions Abby’s ability to care for the baby, Devon keeps standing up for the new mom. Devon also knows what Abby is going through as he’s gone through it himself.

Devon is worried about Abby, but he is probably the one person that can get through to her. So, we expect Devon and Abby to get much closer. In fact, some fans are wondering if the two will end up having a romance. Devon was the person that Abby called every time she had trouble with the baby. With Chance’s death, Devon will also be right by Abby’s side throughout the ordeal.

This could end up ruining his relationship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Amanda probably won’t be jealous, but relationships have to be nurtured or they die.

The typical soap writing formula for a dead character suddenly turning up alive involves the surviving spouse moving on. So, when Chance turns up alive, Abby will probably already be in another relationship. This will set up a complicated love triangle where Abby will have to make a choice. However, does Abby belong with Devon or Chance?
