Y&R spoilers reveal that Chance has been struggling ever since Kim Dunaway (Roxanne Hart) took care of him in Spain. Kim tried to warn Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that Chance was going through a lot mentally. Abby seemed to brush it off but not because she didn’t care. Abby truly believed that once Chance was home, everything would be just fine.

However, that hasn’t happened and Abby doesn’t know what to do. While Abby did suggest that Chance get professional help, he isn’t getting it. During the week of February 14, Abby will find out that Chance is keeping secrets. This is most likely related to how badly Chance is struggling with PTSD.

Having weaknesses is normal for everyone… even heroes. In fact, Chance could discover that admitting his weakness and asking for help is actually what a strong person does.

“Chance’s plate is already full. I don’t know how much more he can take.”

Even though the statement implies Chance could soon snap, maybe that’s what is needed. When someone finally snaps, it usually leads to them finally getting help. There will be a happy ending to this story, so stay tuned.
