Thankfully, Abby had good fortune in locating Chance. She flew to his friend’s home and quickly convinced him to Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Y&R Spoilers – Healing Process Disrupted By Further Drama

Dominic Newman Abbott Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) has to be the focus on Abby and Chance’s life. He is their strongest bond.

While Dom’s delivery came under duress, he is a healthy boy and is doing well. Other than some seemingly normal crying issues, Dom is a parent’s dream. Everyone is taken with him, most especially Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Mariah’s role as the surrogate led her to be targeted by Ben Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). The kidnapping caused Mariah to bond with Bowie, her nickname for Dominic, during the pregnancy and the early weeks after his birth. But her interest is shifting as adoption appears to be in the future.

As for Devon, he plans on pursuing legal custody rights. That will create another detour in Chance’s recovery efforts.

Chance will likely struggle to regain his mental stability until Abby insists that he see a psychiatrist. She has to take charge of this situation so that their family can stabilize.

This arguable plot hole in the storyline needs to be filled for believability reasons as soon as possible. Chance endured great trauma and needs treatment so he can heal. It is that simple on Y&R.
