The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chance’s Cheating Solution, Abby Horrified

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has a solution for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) cheating. But it’s certainly not one that Abby, who wants to save their marriage, is going to like.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – It Just Happened

Chance certainly wasn’t satisfied with Abby’s explanation of himself and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) walking in on her and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) doing the naked tango on the couch. He took one look and walked right back out and didn’t come home to his and Abby’s house that night and finally she tracks him down. All she could say was it “just happened” and it was a mistake, and he simply didn’t buy it, especially the “just happened” part.

Actually, if he were to borrow a black light from the forensics department he’d find that it “just happened” several times, all over the apartment. He disputes Abby’s explanation, saying that what “just happened” had to have been building up for months between her and Devon.

Y & R Spoilers – Trouble Reconnecting

Chance lists all the issues that he has had reconnecting with Abby and Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (River and Rainn Ware) since she hunted him down in Spain and brought him back home. Chance admits he’s been throwing himself into his work to avoid the reality of their marriage not working, and even accuses her of sleeping with Devon that whole time. He was on that mission the entirety of Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) pregnancy with Dominic, and truth be told, it was probably a low blow when he couldn’t provide working sperm. If he had, he would have been coming home to his and Abby’s own son, not Abby’s and Devon’s, his low sperm count having supposedly been a temporary condition.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Not Acceptable

Y&R spoilers tease that Abby is horrified when Chance offers his solution to their marriage problems – he says that she belongs with Devon, and she and Dominic and him can be a happy family. He doesn’t believe her when she tells him she and Devon are only friends and there is nothing romantic between them, considering she already proved there is. Chance considers their marriage too flawed to work, and they probably weren’t matched well to begin with, in spite of their torrid romance.

Abby continues to try to work things out but Chance cuts her off and tells her it’s over, period. He knows he can never be man that she envisions, putting her above career, and it’s Devon who’s her ideal.
