Despite “Chabby” reuniting, it seems that there might be trouble in paradise. Promotional photos show a lot of couples together, but Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is by himself. Where is Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and does this indicate a separation?

Y&R spoilers reveal that Abby wants to believe that everything will be just fine. However, she clearly has blinders on as she can’t seem to deal with Chance’s trauma. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Ordway explained that the relationship is shaky due to what Chance has been through.

“Things are a little shaky. There’s just a lot of things that Chance is trying to come to terms with, so this is a lot harder than Abby thought it would be.”

Y&R Spoilers – Trauma Plagues Character

Even though Chance is doing the best he can, there are obviously some issues and trauma. In one recent scene, Chance held his son but it couldn’t distract him from what he’s been through. Ordway previously teased that things would get a lot worse before they get better. So, as much as “Chabby” loves each other, they could go through a rough patch and even a brief separation.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that ViacomCBS released the Christmas photos. In most of them, couples, friends and family are posing together. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) look happier than ever. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) spends time with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) pose together.

However, Chance is all alone in his Christmas photo and isn’t even smiling.

Y&R Spoilers – ‘Chabby’ Split?

It’s possible that Ordway simply wasn’t available for the Christmas photos. So, Chance posing by himself doesn’t prove “Chabby” split. However, with everything going on with Chance, we have to wonder if they might separate. Maybe this is what Ordway meant by her statements regarding the hard road for Abby and things getting worse before they get better. It is clear that Chance is really struggling. Abby isn’t the only one that’s worried. Devon, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are all concerned as well.
