The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) internal admission that she’s behind Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) poisoning establishes a terrible decision. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) awareness that Chelsea has been faking ongoing paralysis and mute status leads him to believe that she’s responsible for framing him.

The head-turning development means that Chelsea committed a crime. That means she could be arrested, jailed, and imprisoned for attempted murder, along with being charged for the illegalities of trying to set up Adam for her heinous behavior.

Not being of sound mind at the time, Adam ordered a goon, who was played by Egan’s real life husband, Matt Katrosar (abductor), to kidnap Chelsea. She was hit on the back of the head to facilitate the abduction. Chelsea later suffered a stroke, which logically connected to Adam’s order and her resulting paralysis and loss of speech.

Katrosar also played a medic who helped Egan’s character after she collapsed at the penthouse. So, the actor’s spouse played both a good and bad guy, which winked at the dynamic that many Genoa City, Wisconsin, wives have experienced through the years. Y&R fans know that GC husbands might not be willing to admit that their wives have projected ups and downs toward them as well.

Y&R Spoilers – What Will Rey Rosales Prove?

Rey has already been given the go-ahead to search Adam’s home. Vilasuso’s character is convinced that his nemesis is out to get him.

The amoral behavior that Adam has so often exhibited naturally led Rey to believe that he is the poisoner. So, its eventually possible that the GC detective will prove Chelsea is the perpetrator.

A fair assumption also has Chelsea’s orchestration make Adam look like the criminal. That will draw Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) into the storyline as his son’s revived defender.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Put In A Box

Assuming that Chelsea’s frame fits, Adam will need to prove his innocence. Then, he’ll need to consider whether he can prove Chelsea framed him or if Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) becomes his target. Adam’s choices will be daunting, as he weighs the impact on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Can Adam avoid being convicted, which assumes the plot reaches that point? If he does, will he use leverage to force Chelsea to get married or order her to stay away from him and their son? Then again, Adam might turn her into the authorities and fully purse Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as part of a revenge play against Rey and as an acknowledgment that Case’s character is his destiny after all.
