The Young and the Restless spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) loved Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She sacrificed so often for him and even recently threw in with his plan to bring down the Newman family. But that alliance is over because of yet another outrageous act.

Adam was plotting to somehow damage Newman Tower while knowing that his father and other Newman family members were inside. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) didn’t know the extent of Adam’s intended treachery, but she did see the schematic plans on his laptop computer at the penthouse.

Grossman’s increasingly deranged character knew that he’d been exposed and chose to believe that Chelsea, the mother of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who’s been more loyal to him than anyone else, was a threat. So, he had her kidnapped.

Chelsea is super savvy. Her survival skills were initially honed with Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach). Grifting wasn’t right but did provide certain useful life experience.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) recognized the markings of Adam’s duplicity. Adam once kept her, like Chelsea, in a building somewhere in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Thankfully Egan’s character has Khloe’s restored friendship, support, and protection at the Chancellor mansion, as Chelsea now represents more than a threat. She’s been wronged and has turned on Adam.

While he’s often done terrible things, Adam does have a track record of plotting wisely in many instances. But there have been times when his zeal goes overboard, leaving him vulnerable to a counterattack.

YR Spoilers – Billy Abbott Conflicted Truth-Teller

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) was appalled by Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) reveal at the hospital. She recognized that he wasn’t there to stand in solidarity with her while Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) began what is a hopeful recovery. Instead, Billy wanted to gather more dirt to throw at Adam through Chance Com’s digital platform.

But Billy’s move telegraphs an alliance that’s similar to the one he forged with Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). Chelsea and Billy share more than Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) in common. Now, they also are aiming for a common enemy. This puts Chelsea’s recent request to see Johnny in a different light and likely one that Billy will (or should) reconsider.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Will Be Stopped

Chelsea is capable of stopping Adam on her own. But add the power of Billy, Chloe, Chance, and others and his plight is seemingly sealed. It’s just a matter of how long until a full halt happens and if it holds.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a wild card, however. He insists that Adam needs to be protected and was impacted by Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) tell about Adam’s corporate assault plans. Yes, Adam’s fragile mental state keeps the developments and outcome of this storyline unpredictable and therefore worth the watch.
