The Young and the Restless Spoilers: 'Chick' Done, Connor's Manipulation Works - Nick And Phyllis Possible Couple?The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) rightly feels uncertain about his relationship with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Because of that and a recent, deep conversation with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), it’s become possible for Phick to make an unexpected comeback.

The many versions of Phyllis and Nick, sparking the daytime nickname Phick, haven’t lasted. However, the child they had together, Summer Newman (Hunter King), puts this particular pairing above any Nick’s had, except the one he had with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Shick will likely be Nick’s all-time greatest achievement, due to the love he and Sharon shared, their connection with Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes), and the two children they have (Noah Newman, as played by Robert Adamson, and Faith Newman, as played by Alyvia Alyn Lind), Phick is clearly second, which makes it important.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phick Didn’t Stick Before

Considering that Nick threw Phyllis out of his house earlier this year, which happened during the final weeks of Gina Tognoni’s (Phyllis) run, it would seem too soon for these characters to reconcile. However, Nick has long been impulsive, especially where his love life is concerned.

The recent gaming scenes highlight the effortless fun these two people can have when they don’t take themselves too seriously. As long as they don’t fixate on current problems, both real, exaggerated, or imagined, Phick is good or can be.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Shick Doesn’t Seem Likely Anytime Soon

Shick fans aren’t hopeful that their favorite couple will be getting back together anytime soon. Y&R’s decision, across many years, to block Sharon and Nick from remarrying has felt odd. But apparently various decision-makers have felt that there wasn’t much if any fresh storyline to mine.

So, Sharon is with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Nick is with Chelsea, at the moment. Shey appears to be strong, with Sharon serving as Nick’s occasional confidant, in a purely non-romantic capacity.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chick Has Never Solidified

Chelsea left Nick without warning in early 2018. Egan was voluntarily departing the cast at the time but promised fans that her character’s story would continue.

True to her word, Egan returns to Y&R last spring, as Chelsea had to see the again resurrected and also recast Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Chelsea’s increasing involvement with Adam, via Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), shows no signs of lessening, making Chick’s future doubtful. And so Nick seems to be reconsidering the Phyllis option.
