The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Christel Khalil Takes On A New Role

Christel Khalil, who plays Lily Winters on “The Young and the Restless,” has found a new career. Aside from acting, she now has teaching under her list of skills. Kahlil has revealed that she’s been undergoing training to become a Kundalini yoga teacher.

A new-found passion

In her Instagram post, Christel shared a photo of herself in a white outfit and doing a yoga pose. She wrote, “Embarking on part 2 of my [Kundalini] Teacher training!”

She added that this yoga has helped her to completely transform her mindset and even life, and bring her subconscious to her conscious mind.

“So excited to be one step closer to being certified to help bring this healing practice to more people. Thank you to @strike.a.kjord for being such an amazing teacher who has ignited my fire for this! Beyond happy to learn from such an amazing soul!”

Other soaps stars are supportive of Kahlil’s new passion, such as DAYS’ Kristen, Stacy Haiduk; Y&R’s Devon, Bryton James; and Y&R’s Phyllis, Michelle Stafford, who all commented on her Instagram photo.

Christel Kahlil is popularly known for her role as Lily Winters on “The Young and the Restless.” That said, it wouldn’t be surprising if many of her fans begin to register and attend her yoga classes!

Kahlil debuted as Lily on Y&R in 2002. Lily came back to Genoa City from Paris with Drucilla Winters (Victoria Powell). She’s been living a troubled life as a young woman, which prompted Dru to bring her back to Genoa City.

Kahlil took a break from “Young and Restless” last year and was last seen last autumn, in line with Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) exit on the soap. Lily had been convicted and imprisoned for the death of Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan). She had been released and spending her time as a GED tutor.

As much as fans would love to see Lily more, Kahlil remains to be on break from “The Young and the Restless.” Fans could wait for her new film “We Need to Talk,” which is already in the post-production stage.

Aside from Y&R, Kahlil also appeared in a TV movie called “Bedlam” and other TV series, such as “2 Broke Girls,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “W.I.T.C.H.,” and “That’s So Raven.”
