Y&R spoilers reveal that once Claire was exposed, she went to jail. Then, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria recruited Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to help Claire. Eventually, Claire was transferred to a mental health facility and then released.

Victoria and Cole seemed to instantly accept that Claire was better. After everything that Claire and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) put the Newman family through, one would think there would be at least some hesitation.

For the most part, Victoria has been incredibly forgiving and accepting.

Other members of the Newman family are following, too. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and even Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have come to accept that Claire is part of the family now.

When Summer and Claire met, Victor was interrogated about the new family member. Summer was horrified to learn about Claire’s past and connection to Jordan. Summer’s instincts led her to investigate Claire a bit more, which led to that chat with Victor.

Just like Summer’s instincts told her something was off with Harrison’s kidnapping. Even though Claire was a victim, that could have just been another performance. Something in Summer’s gut is screaming to keep Claire away from Harrison, and that seems to be intensifying instead of fading.

If several members of the primary family were wary, then it would be more believable. As of right now, we are seriously questioning Claire’s intentions and if she is truly reformed.
