Like his sister, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), Daniel needs his mother to wrap up the terrible situation she got herself into. Focusing on Omega Sphere and advancing his reignited relationship with Lily will be hard until that happens.

Moving into the penthouse was an easy decision because of the family connection. Her brother’s offer was warm-hearted and accepting it allows the link to their late father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), to remain intact as he passed away there.

Neil always encouraged his children to keep on living. Lily is in a good place in her life, professionally. Viewers will be watching to see if she asks Daniel to move into the penthouse as part of their comeback story, with remarriage projected on Y&R.
