The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is returning to Genoa City for good. His ex-wife Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is thrilled to see her first love and really good friend, as he shows up unexpectedly.

Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has been very worried about her and Daniel’s mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis has seemed to be spiraling recently, with her revenge obsession against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) becoming more and more dangerous. Summer had sent Phyllis out of Genoa City before to spend some time with Daniel, and she had seemed to return with an improved attitude.

But her mission to take down Diane and reclaim Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has fallen apart in Phyllis’ face. No one can blame Summer for calling Daniel for family reinforcements, but it will be a pleasant surprise that he’s moving back for good!

Y & R Spoilers – Society Surprises

Lily is totally shocked and surprised while at Society, as she sees Daniel walk into the restaurant; they literally make a beeline for each other. The two haven’t seen each other for a very long time, and they had been teenage sweethearts who married, so the connection runs deep and back many years.

It turns out Daniel has been keeping up with Lily and her life in the corporate world online and he congratulates her for her recent successes. Lily has been keeping up with Daniel as well, and asks him if he has any art exhibitions coming up, since he’s an artist. Daniel tells Lily he’s taking a break from the art world to focus on other things, and perhaps discover something else he’d rather do for the rest of his life.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Reunion Rudely Interrupted

As they continue to sit at a table and talk, Daniel starts talking to Lily about her relationship with Billy Abbott, (Jason Thompson) surprised to have read they’re dating. Billy is quite obviously not Daniel’s favorite person, and he wants to give her some warnings about what she might find herself getting into. However, before they can talk very much about Billy, speaking of the devil he walks over to their table, and seems to be rather rudely interrupting.

Billy no doubt is aware of Daniel and Lily’s past relationship and sometimes he can get a bit jealous. It looks like the twosome might become a threesome as Billy joins the couple and conversation continues.
