The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Just Wanted More One On One Time With The Baby

It is probably not all that surprising that Devon wants more one on one time with Dominic Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). Devon delivered him under less than perfect circumstances when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) had been kidnapped by Ben Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) and he took care of him when Abby went looking for her husband overseas.

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember he lost a baby along with his late wife Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and it wouldn’t be surprising if he subconsciously relates Dominic to that baby. Devon wanted Abby to change the wording in their arrangement so that he could have Dominic by himself more often, and it turned into an ugly misunderstanding when Abby and Chance thought he wanted split custody!

Y&R Spoilers – He Did And Didn’t Want Split Custody?

Devon wanted the one on one time in writing, and that would be a legal contract! Devon is Dominic’s birth father biologically, having been the sperm donor and Mariah the surrogate who carried Abby’s baby, but Abby fears he’s become too attached.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Devon’s girlfriend Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is advising him with asking for more time with the baby, and she is an attorney. But Devon doesn’t really want to get into a legal split custody arrangement although he wants Abby to change what they have in writing, so to Abby that’s like he’s saying two different things!

Y&R spoilers tease Devon perhaps came across as clear as mud to Abby and Chance! After a fraught encounter at Crimson Lights, where Abby went off on him about overstepping, he goes back home and talks about the incident with Amanda. Abby had read into his request for more one on one time with Dominic that he thought that she and Chance were bad parents or something like that and refused to change any terms at all.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that very emotional encounter, and admits he didn’t use the exact wording Amanda told him to, which was to “modify the terms of visitation in the original agreement”. Devon decides to not push things with Abby because she had been too emotional to understand where he was really coming from.

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Finds It’s Time To Assess His Options

While Devon has been talking to Amanda about wording and options and Amanda leaves to run an errand, Abby shows up! They do get back on track with their friendship or so it seems, and apologize to each other for their previous conversation getting confrontational.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Abby delivers a zinger that completely blindsides Devon and makes him realize he has to assess his options regarding Dominic. Abby tells Devon that while she can see how much he loves the baby, she and Chance decided not to make any changes to the visitation agreement! Abby tells Devon that Dominic already has a home along with a mother and a father!
