The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Dominic Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) family may be on a desperate search for a bone marrow donor when blood tests reveal Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is not his birth father after all in upcoming episodes of The Young and The Restless!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Did Ben Rayburn Pull Off A Sperm Donor Switch?
Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) mysteriously showed up in Genoa City, supposedly to take a job at Memorial Hospital, right after Chance Chancellor (then Donny Boaz) left for his months-long mission.
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember someone appearing to be watching the Chancellor mansion, keeping an eye on Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) at least a couple of weeks before Stitch first showed up at Abby’s door.
Y&R spoilers and recaps show Abby lost her baby with Stitch because his mentally disturbed son Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) played a prank that caused Abby to fall down a flight of stairs and miscarry, and because of that she cannot carry to term.
Stitch could easily have been in Genoa City and hanging around even before Mariah was artificially inseminated, and his kidnapping Mariah could have been some misguided attempt to keep the baby safe – it’s possible he switched Devon’s sperm with his for the insemination too!
Y&R Spoilers – Dominic Chancellor May Need A Bone Marrow Match
Usually a bone marrow aspiration means that there will be a serious health issue in which baby Dominic may need a bone marrow match. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know Devon won’t be a match, and neither will Abby or anyone on her side of the family, which will entail a frantic search! Stitch worked at Memorial Hospital before, and there should be records from both him and Max which Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) should be able to access to determine if he or Max might be a match – assuming the paternity has already been ascertained.
But there will be one very big problem – and that will be to locate Stitch and Max; Max had been in a hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a brain tumor, but after Stitch fled Genoa City, both of them disappeared! Abby may have to resort to asking for help from her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to track them down, but on the other hand Chance may decide to make it his mission to find Stitch and Max!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Dominic Chancellor Could Have One Of Several Conditions Requiring A Bone Marrow Transplant
Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Dominic could potentially have one of several conditions requiring a bone marrow transplant, the best known being leukemia. However, Dominic’s symptoms do not indicate that he would have leukemia – his red blood cells are low but nothing has been said about his white blood cells being too high; it sounds more like a rare form of anemia.

In aplastic anemia, all blood cells, white, red and platelets are at low levels and that would require a bone marrow transplant; however, there are other disorders which may require bone marrow as well. Whatever is causing the problem, Abby and Chance will be in a panic, and Devon will be confused and dismayed, and he will involve himself in the search for Stitch and Max as well! The attachment to the baby is there so it won’t matter that he’s not really the baby daddy!
