Y&R spoilers reveal that Abby begs Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) to find out more information about Chance Chancellor (formerly Donny Boaz). Abby asks her if she knows anyone in DC. Christine does admit there is an old supervisor of hers, but doubts she would have any information at this point. Abby still urges Christine to make the phone call, so she agrees.

When Christine returns, she has photos to show Abby. One, in particular, stabs Abby in the heart and she collapses.

Y&R Spoilers – Devastation And Heartache

Abby will be devastated and heartbroken. Whatever the photo shows, Abby will be forced to confront the horrible truth – that there is no possible way Chance could have survived the collapsed building. So, in addition to being a new mom who is struggling to soothe her baby, being overwhelmed, exhausted and stressed, now she is a widow.

Just one of these factors is enough to cause someone to mentally collapse. For Abby to deal with all of these things at once, it just might prove to be too much.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Abby loves her baby. There is no doubt about that. However, fans have commented on Abby’s lack of parenting skills. It’s not really the parenting that is an issue, though. Abby is unable to connect with her baby, which happens more often than people realize.

With the additional load of having to face Chance’s death, Abby might become consumed with her grief. There is a chance that she might unintentionally neglect the baby because she will be so overwhelmed with her heartbreak.

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton’s Decision

Devon’s connection to the baby has been made clear. In fact, when Abby can’t soothe the baby or get him to sleep, she calls Devon. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is trying to be understanding, but it’s clearly concerning her.

So, when Devon reveals his concerns about the baby, Amanda just might compel him to take action. Could Devon be forced to have Amanda get him an emergency custody hearing? Could Abby end up losing her baby, along with her husband?

What do you think is going to happen when Abby is forced to face Chance’s death? How will this affect her mentally and what does it mean for the baby? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out.

      Why did the writers have Abby get married and have a child just to kill Chance off. I was hoping they would be the next Nikki and Victor.

      Bring Abby's husband back asap/you fired the other person, get another person to play Chance. Don't let Ashland die, I like him and Victoria together. You can get rid of trouble maker Billy tho.

      Abbys character is being completely ruined. Fluffy Abbys character isn't for everyone but she's becoming absolutely depressing and ridiculous. I used to enjoy fluffy younger Abby whilst enjoying her to grow up and mature. I enjoyed her initial journey with Chance and was really looking forward to Chance encouraging Abby to evolve. Perhaps a better more interesting believable story would be to have Abby medically assessed and recognized as having the mental capacity of a young child because her character is becoming tedious. At least if she was diagnosed as mentally handicapped I could sympathize with her character.

      Devon has no right to this child a judge would never give him custody unless Abby signs off on it. What a stupid story the writers needs to do some home work how ridiculous is this story unbelievable
