The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Diane’s Revenge, Hits Phyllis Where It Hurts

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been persecuted since the moment she returned to Genoa City, and in the beginning, there may have been a valid reason for doing so.

However, over the course of the last few months, she has shown that she has returned to make a better life for herself, reconnect with her son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and maybe even form a new relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

It hasn’t been easy though, nor will it as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) have made it their mission to shun Diane from town and out of their lives because of her past.

Because, as we know, this trio of ladies has never done anything of ill repute and are stand-up citizens in their city. While it’s incredibly hypocritical, it hasn’t stopped them from pursuing every angle possible in an attempt to get Diane out of town and ruin her life.

We’ve seen a few battles of The Grand Pheonix in the past between Phyllis and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and I think we may be on the way to another standoff as Diane seeks revenge for everything that these women have been doing to her and she may see the hotel as a weak point.

Diane could make a mad dash for the hotel and try to turn Phyllis’ attention away from her and back onto her hotel or just straight up try to overthrow her as the owner. We saw Abby come close to this several times before and even started building a hotel across the street from her (which we never heard or saw again) and no offense, but if Abby can give Phyllis a run for her money, I think Diane has a very good chance to rub some dirt in her eyes.

I kind of hope Diane gets the last laugh. Watching her being persecuted like in the Salem Witch trials has been a bit much, especially since the people going after her are witches themselves. Go get the hotel and make Phyllis regret messing with you, Diane.
