Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, Elizabeth says that she has so many friends with children and the advice they gave her was that the best plane is to have no plan. She told the publication in an interview, “So, I didn’t really have any expectations. I had a few things that I was hoping for. I didn’t want to have a C-section, because the recovery time is longer; I was hoping to have a doula, and I wanted to do the birth process as long as I could without drugs. But at the end of the day, whatever was best for the baby and myself, I was down for!”

With that said, Elizabeth says that she couldn’t help but feel a mixture of fear and joy during that time and adds that she still feels the same way about the future, seeing how the threat of the coronavirus will linger on for many months to come. She said, “I was at 39 weeks and barely a centimeter dilated, and then things that were happening in New York made me more and more nervous.”
