The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Fans Demand Devon And Abby Stay Apart According To Poll

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) cheating on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), all roads seem to lead to her and Devon having a relationship and leaving Chance in the dust.

We have even speculated that it is inevitable, and from the moment that Devon was a donor for them to create Dominic, something like this was going to happen. While it may have taken a while for that to happen, where are fans now and what do they think?

According to a new poll in Soap Opera Digest, a majority of fans are actually against the idea of Devon and Abby getting together and forming a relationship. When asked ‘Should Y&R pursue a Devon/Abby romance?’, a staggering 60% of people answered no while just 40% said yes.

That is quite a large difference and has us wondering what people would like to see instead. Would they rather see Abby go back to Chance or just remain single and not let her love affair continue to blossom into another thing?

So if they don’t want Abby and Devon to become a thing, should Chance just take back Abby and try to work around this newfound issue or should everyone just work on themselves and be single for a while?

If I had to write it, I would make everyone take a step back and look at themselves and figure out why they put themselves in that situation and I would not jump into any new relationships. In ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) jumped to an immediate wedding after a divorce and the ink wasn’t even dry on the papers, and that is not turning out to be a disaster.

They need to take some time, be single, and realize what they truly want. I have to say, I’m not on board for a Devon and Abby relationship either. I think it would be lame and forced and I honestly don’t think they should form a new relationship through an affair.
