The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, August 28 – Lola Gets Upsetting News – Jack Ponders His Future – Phyllis Counsels Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 28, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive at the Grand Phoenix to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis will what to share the news about all of her new bookings for the Grand Phoenix Escape Club. After thanking Nick for all his help and support, Phyllis and Nick will head up to Phyllis’ suite.

Phyllis will learn that something’s bothering Nick when the topic of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) comes up. Phyllis will suspect that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) must have done something, and Nick will explain that Adam has pulled another disappearing act.

Phyllis will surmise that Victor’s probably obsessed over the whole thing, and that he’s ignoring his other children’s needs. Phyllis will do her best to try to get Nick to realize that his relationship with Victor can’t be repaired, and she’ll urge Nick to protect himself from the damage that his father inflicts.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Looks To The Future & Considers His Life

Next on Y&R, at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will arrive looking a mess, and it will turn out that he’s been at Jabot all night working. Jack will talk with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who will notice that he’s been out all night. Talk will then turn to the home movie that they recently watched, and Jack will speak about the need for him to find some balance in his life.

Later, Jack will encounter Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), who will be emerging from Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) room after visiting his grandmother. Jack will learn about Theo’s new job at Chancellor Communications, and Jack will share some tidbits about the home movie that Dina led him to. Jack will muse that finding love is a gift and is more important than work. Suddenly, Theo will say that there’s somewhere he needs to be, and he’ll hurry off.

Jack and Traci will talk some more, and Jack will be feeling melancholy and wanting to talk about what’s missing from his life. Traci will wonder if Jack feels good about where he is in his life, and Jack will indicate that he feels “more alone than ever.” Jack will tear up and get emotional, but he’ll insist that the best is yet to come.

Y&R Spoilers: Mariah Copeland Meddles In Her Friends’ Lives

Next on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michal Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will have breakfast at Society, and they’ll be talking about house hunting when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) overhears. Mariah will make it her business, and she’ll say that Kyle and Summer need to tone down the house hunting talk when they’re in Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) place of business.

Mariah will then visit with Lola in the kitchen, and Mariah will hear about how Lola spent the night with Theo. Mariah will basically insist that Lola’s probably having second thoughts, and soon Lola will admit that she feels like she’s playing a part and that maybe that will change. This will worry Mariah, who will lecture Lola about relationships.

Young And Restless Spoilers: Lola Rosales Overhears Some Disturbing Information

In the dining room, Kyle will tell Summer that they probably should be more sensitive to Lola’s needs, and he’ll worry about Lola’s relationship with Theo, who’s all wrong for her. This will unnerve Summer a bit, but ultimately she’ll agree that Kyle’s right. Summer will then encounter Mariah on the way to the ladies’ room, and Summer and Mariah will be talking about the need for discretion when talking about house hunting when Lola overhears.

Lola will be visibly upset, and she’ll then happen to encounter Kyle at the bar. Lola and Kyle will start to argue about the house hunting, although Lola will indicate to Kyle that she’s fine with it and that it’s easier with it all out in the open. Theo will show up, and Mariah will intercept him, telling him that Lola and Kyle are having an important conversation. Theo will head over to the couch area, where Lola will find him.

Lola will head back to work, and Kyle will lament to Mariah that he tried to apologize to Lola but that she didn’t care. Mariah will say that Kyle was Lola’s first love, and that Lola needs to know that it meant something to him, too. Kyle will seemingly understand this.

Lola Rosales Lashes Out At Theo Vanderway – CBS Soap Opera Spoilers

Next on Y&R, Theo will head into the kitchen to see Lola, and he’ll want to talk, but Lola won’t be feeling it. Theo will press the issue, and Lola will say that if this is about Kyle, then she doesn’t want to talk about it. Theo will wonder if perhaps last night was more of a rebound than Lola thinks, and Lola will lash out. Theo will say that when Lola’s ready to talk, she knows where to find him.

Finally, on Friday’s new episode of Y&R, Summer and Kyle will hit Chancellor Park as they talk more about house hunting. Kyle will suggest that they get a real-estate agent, but Summer will have a better idea. Summer will promise to tell Kyle all about her idea on their way to work.
