‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 29: Amanda’s Assignment, Kyle’s Extreme Measure, Claire’s Trust

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Friday, August 29, 2025! Fans can expect Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to return with a new assignment on her plate.

Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) resorts to extreme measures to save his relationship with Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin).

Nikki Newman’s Announcement

Let’s start off with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who tries to make Claire feel better. The matriarch offers the young woman a promotion. This might be just the first of many Chancellor shake-ups.

However, I have to wonder if Claire will be like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and reject the promotion until she feels she’s truly earned it. Not saying she isn’t deserving, it just seems a bit quick considering she’s only worked there for a few months.

Claire Grace Newman’s Trust

While the promotion might be great news, Claire will continue to be troubled by her trust issues with Kyle. Even though Kyle confessed to kissing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), he stopped it before it went too far.

Claire seems mostly upset that Kyle waited so long to tell her the truth. However, he did finally get honest. So, Claire has a lot to think about regarding her relationship.

Kyle Abbott’s Extreme Measure

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 29 reveal that Kyle will go to extreme measures to prove himself to Claire. The young man might even decide to pop the question to Claire.

However, she’s not like other girls where a shiny ring will make her forget everything. Claire is more rational than emotional, so I don’t think she will accept right away. Not until she knows she can trust him.

Fans will also see Amanda return to Genoa City. Of course, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will have a new assignment for her to tackle. There might also be some scenes between Amanda and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will open up to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Billy will have some intel to share about Cane.

However, things might not be as simple as they seem. Billy knows that Cane is up to something, but he’s just not sure yet what it is. Billy also warned Cane about Phyllis, and that he has no idea of the tornado that is coming, so stay tuned.
