The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 15, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will take the opportunity to needle Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) when Victoria arrives at the Grand Phoenix for a meeting. Victoria will share that she has a meeting with a headhunter in a few minutes.
Phyllis will muse that perhaps Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is looking to replace the CFO in Los Angeles who embezzled funds from Newman Enterprises. Victoria won’t be happy that Phyllis knows this, and she’ll wonder what Phyllis is going to do with the information. Phyllis will take the high road, saying that she’s not planning on using the information in any way.
Next on Y&R, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will appear on the scene, and he’ll quiz Phyllis about what she and Victoria were talking about. Phyllis won’t tell Nick what she knows, but she’ll say that it’s big and that she’s decided not to use it against Victoria.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Wants Some Answers
Nick will realize that this is what Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) were talking about the other day, and Phyllis will readily admit that. Nick will say that while he would have enjoyed seeing Victoria get slammed by Phyllis, he’s glad that Phyllis made the choice that she did. Nick will be proud of Phyllis.
Meanwhile, over at Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) place, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will text with Jordan (Madison Thompson). Faith will text that the two of them must be careful, since her parents know that she was with Jordan both times she was caught drinking. Jordan will vow to win over Nick and Sharon, and later Faith will call Jordan promising that she’ll find a way for them to see each other.
Y&R Spoilers – Mariah Copeland Helps Out A Friend In Need
Next on Y&R, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will talk with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) over at Society. Abby will be down in the dumps about not being able to get pregnant, and Abby will explain to Mariah that she’s nervous about her procedure tomorrow and the scarring from her miscarriage. Mariah will text Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), who will arrive soon to help put Abby in better spirits.
Mariah and Tessa will start dancing goofily, and eventually Abby will join, which will make her feel a bit better. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will walk into the dining room with some chocolate for the impromptu party. After eating chocolate desserts, Abby will feel better and she’ll go home to meet up with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
Once Abby gets home, she’ll find the living room filled with red roses, along with a card from Chance saying that he’s running late at work but that he’ll be home soon. Abby will fantasize about bringing her newborn baby home from the hospital, which will lift her spirits a bit. Abby will call Chance and thank him or the roses and card, and she’ll feel hopeful about her doctor’s appointment tomorrow.

Next on Y&R, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will arrive at Il Giardino, a restaurant in Los Angeles where they have a meeting with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) from Spencer Publications. Wyatt will arrive, and after introductions, Kyle will leave Summer and Wyatt so they can meet about JCV business. Wyatt will like Summer’s idea for a JCV promo in Spencer’s publications.
Summer will then mention that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) says hello, which will throw Wyatt off his game a little. Wyatt will learn that Sally is now living in Genoa City and working as Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) executive assistant. Wyatt will definitely give off an odd vibe, and after the meeting is over, Summer will tell Kyle that Sally’s definitely got a secret.
A short time later, Wyatt will call Summer to say that he spoke with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), and that they want to have a meeting to discuss promoting JCV. Summer will say that she hopes she didn’t open old wounds by mentioning Sally, and Wyatt will say that it’s all good. Summer will feel like she’s really onto something about Sally.
Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Gets A New Opportunity
Next on Y&R, Sally and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have coffee together at Crimson Lights. Sally will act nervous about Summer and Kyle being in Los Angeles and meeting with the Spencers. Jack will question why that makes Sally so uncomfortable. Sally will admit to leaving Los Angeles after some painful things, and she’ll say that the people there might not have great things to say about her.
Jack will wonder just how bad it was back in Los Angeles, and Sally will be about to tell him when Lauren breezes in and wants to talk with Sally. Lauren will tell Sally that when Fenmore’s acquired JCV, it also got Jabot’s clothing line, and Lauren will want Sally to work on marketing strategies for the line. Sally will be thrilled, and once Sally leaves, Lauren will hope that this will get Sally’s attention off of Summer and JCV.

Today's episode did nothing for me other than I would like to see the actress who actually looks like she is running Grand Pheonix get some lines and a new dress please (the lady in the green dress). If I was a writer on this show I would write it that Nikki has put the woman in as mole to take over the GP as payback to Phyllis for putting her and her family in jail so she could save her own skin. The woman deserves a bigger part, she is doing a great job of actually looking like she is running a hotel instead of being a gargoyle like Phyllis. Also it's time Nikki got her claws out instead of being some dimwit who is ok having herself and family trashed by Phyllis. These two ladies have potential so use them.
Sally story is same old, move on. Give Jack and Lauren something better than another story playing second fiddle to a redhead, even if she is 30 years younger.
And stop with the Nick and Phyllis the constant let's have sex talk, it's boring and talking in public about how they want to do it all the time, like they are two kids who have just discovered sex, tasteless and tacky. If you want to write those stories do it with young people where it's believable, not two old people. A good story for Phyllis would be how she is struggling with menopause not adolescent sex opportunities.
What happened to Lauren's husband Michael? Has he left the show or what? The last last I saw him his hair looked like a silver fox.
I hope Summer finds out nothing on Sally. She needs to worry about her own problems,with Kyle. He is not as good as she thinks. Phyllis is going to mess up now. I think Nick is just baiting her to see what she does. No matter he is always a Newman, his mom just needs to get a hold on him. She usually can talk him down. I bet Victor knows about the money,not much he does not know. Hope Kevin tells Vic and she gets his mom for doing that or on Phyllis. Vic knows just a matter of time before Phyllis messes up. Nick will probably know Phyllis is going to go ahead and let Victor know. She has already turned him against his kids,Sharon and dad and Vic. Phyllis want like Nikki on her,when she finds out. The question is what will Nick say to his mom? Phyllis has Nick right where she wants him at the hotel. Away from Sharon and kids. That way he want be with anyone else. Need to close hotel down.
