The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may very well reject his long presumed dead mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and that could make his angelic toddler Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) a target for kidnapping on The Young and The Restless!

The Young and The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Contacts Kyle Abbott About His Mother, But Leaves The Ball In His Court!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall from a recent episode of The Young and The Restless that Diane finally revealed her real reason for buying Keemo Abbott’s (Philip Moon) house and finding his daughter, then luring Jack to L.A. Diane had gone to all that trouble so she could reveal herself as alive after all these years and try to get Jack to get her back together with their own grown son together, Kyle! Viewers will remember that Jack was not at all happy with getting his newfound granddaughter Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) involved and using her in Diane’s grand scheme to find Kyle, who Diane basically abandoned as a small boy when she faked her death! Viewers saw some poignant flashbacks of young Kyle when Jack found him and brought him into the Abbott family home to raise him after his mother’s “death” and telling him how much his “late” mother had loved him! If that was “love” then Diane certainly has had strange ways of showing it over the years!

Y&R Spoilers – No One Would Blame Kyle Abbott For Wanting Nothing To Do With Diane Jenkins

Given that kind of history between mother and son going years back on The Young and The Restless, no one would blame Kyle for wanting nothing to do with Diane; who fakes their death and waits over twenty years to let her son know she’s alive?! Diane was seriously injured, having been run over and bludgeoned in the head, but she wasn’t in a years-long coma – she told Jack that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) supplied her a corpse for her funeral! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Jack finally agreed to contact Kyle and give him Diane’s contact information, but refused to give her his – and with good reason! Jack said he would leave it in Kyle’s hands whether he wanted to contact her or have any kind of relationship, but if he didn’t, Diane would have to move along and leave it be! But what is worrying, and should worry, Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as well, is if Diane could find Keemo’s house, about his death, and about his daughter, she can find Kyle, Summer Abbott (Hunter King) and Harrison as well!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – If Kyle Abbott Outright Rejects Diane Jenkins, Harrison Locke’s Kidnapping Is A Very Real Threat!

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember what a loose cannon with loose screws Diane was back in the day, and it’s doubtful that very much has changed since then! If Diane had really changed and truly regretted her past actions it’s a good bet that viewers of The Young and The Restless would have seen her try to track down Kyle many years ago! Probably the safest thing that Kyle could do would be to arrange for himself, Summer and Harrison to make a trip back to Genoa City, or even Los Angeles, and meet with Diane there, and Jack and Phyllis could also catch up with their children and Harrison, but separately. Then they could see how Kyle and Harrison having a relationship with Diane would go from there, and it would be a good time for Kyle, Harrison and Allie to meet as well – in a separate meeting. Diane is just enough off-kilter that an outright rejection could put in her head to make her fresh mothering start with Harrison, and somehow track him down and kidnap him!
