The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has agreed to back Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) latest scheme. This one involves another crime against Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who she previously framed for murder when resembling Maura West (who played Diane during that point in the plot).

Jack’s agreement further confirms his all-in mindset. He has rationalized backing his son’s mother to an irrational degree, now agreeing to abet her robbing Nikki to pass Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) loyalty test.

But John had some quirks. One had a name, Jill Foster (Jess Walton), who became Jill Foster Abbott when John twice married her. While she loved John, devoted viewers also know she tricked him into getting pregnant with their son, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

John allowed himself to be dragged into many of Jill’s battles. He also took his eyes off the business, with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seizing control. So, Jack’s patriarchal example included witnessing personal upheaval.

Jack was talking with Diane at Crimson Lights. He acknowledged how close they had become since her shocking return from the dead. That came after he was seriously fretting about her safety.

Diane is employing a plan to get back in Jeremy’s good graces. She reached a verbal agreement that requires her to surprise him. Hyde’s character wants Diane to commit a meaningful crime to prove that she is telling the truth about wanting to rejoin the wild life they led in Los Angeles, California.

Of course, Diane’s pitch to Jeremy does not make sense on an introductory level. Even if Jeremy buys that she did not report him to the authorities, retrospective scenes informed the audience that she was furious when learning he used her as a money laundering mule. So, his test is likely more than that.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Addicted To Drama

Diane appears to be all that her detractors claim. She is addicted to drama and caused those connected to her to be drug through the soapy wringer.

Engaging with Jeremy is unnecessary. Why not work with the GC Police Department? Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) would be the right man to help her out.

Instead, Diane wants Jack to serve as her self-appointed defender. She also discounts Jeremy’s motivation to bring her down and does not care if anyone in the Abbott family, including her son and grandson, is negatively impacted on Y&R.
