Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Keemo returned to Vietnam with his half-sister years ago after their mother Luan Volien Abbott (Elizabeth Sung) died. At that time Keemo had been angry with Jack for not disclosing Luan’s terminal illness to them sooner, feeling that he and Mai Volien (Marianne Rees) because they would have spent more time with her if they had known.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless learned recently that Jack had lied to his family about keeping in touch with Keemo, with the last angry email from Keemo telling Jack to leave him alone, and amends were not made. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) knows the only way to find out who is really behind the mysterious texts Jack has been getting is to try and find a way to contact Keemo. She does an internet search and finds a memorial page – Keemo had died of a heart attack about three weeks prior, and Jack grieves that his son is dead and he didn’t try harder to make amends with him.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers And Traci Abbott Try To Comfort Jack Abbott

Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be upset that Keemo has died after finding out Jack lied about their contact over the years, and she and Phyllis will remind him Keemo didn’t want Jack in his life. Jack cannot blame himself for abiding by Keemo’s wishes for no contact, and Keemo had never re-established contact with his father, so that is not on Jack, it was on Keemo.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless can understand why Jack would feel guilty and regret leaving Keemo and Mai out of the loop when Luan developed her terminal illness, considering the aftermath of that decision. Jack may not be mentioning it but it almost has to be assumed that Luan had something to do with that as well; maybe she didn’t want to worry her children. But one thing that Phyllis convinces Jack they must do now is to what the texter requested and go to that address – one thing Jack doesn’t need to worry about is that the texter was Keemo, since he died before the texts started coming.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Perhaps Keemo Abbott Left A Letter For His Father

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see that even though Traci has felt this anonymous texter is playing a cruel game with Jack and trying to scam him, he makes a decision to go. Phyllis will fly out with him; even though a heart attack seems to be a sudden and unanticipated death, perhaps Keemo left a letter for Jack or something, although she too wishes whoever is making contact would be a little more forthcoming. Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Phyllis and Jack reason out that it must be someone who knew Keemo and would have to be knowledgeable about their relationship and Jack’s private cell number. The memorial didn’t mention a widow or children, but someone who cared about Keemo had to have put up that page in his memory, and Jack and Phyllis hope they find some answers when they go to the address.
