The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was intrigued by the information his brother offered. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is not certain that their older sister wants to avoid a family confrontation. Ashley Abbott McCall (Eileen Davidson) is weighing her options in the early days following her remarriage to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). She reacted defensively when Jack presented a document to her as a wedding gift.

The legal relinquishing of Ashley’s intellectual property means she and Tucker can build Simply Ashley without a fight. But the Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) issue persists.

Jack told Diane that he wanted to give Ashley her patents so that she could feel he was not holding her hostage. But the hostility between this newly married couple and the McCall’s did not immediately evaporate.

Diane’s plan to have Billy operate as a mole led to Thompson’s character becoming involved in exploratory talks with Ashley and Tucker.

Ashley believed Billy was on board with the plan, but Jack, Diane, and the viewers knew he was not.

Billy’s told Jack, about Tucker saying Ashley will not follow through with Simply Ashley’s plan to take over Jabot and appoint him as its Chief Executive Officer. That was enough to convince Jack that Ashley was giving up the fight.

YR Spoilers – Billy Abbott Is Not Certain

Billy is unsure of more than one plot point. He does not believe Ashley is suddenly willing to walk away from a defense of Jabot against Diane’s presumed destruction of it.

But Tucker offered insight that left Billy speechless. St. John’s character told Billy he was enticed by the prospect of heading Jabot under Simply Ashley.

Viewers noted that Billy did not pass along that jab Tucker made which appeared to be revealing. Billy also does not know what Adam’s dirt looks like.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Wants To Trade Intel

Billy’s bump into Adam, after the talk with Tucker in the Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) Jazz Lounge, was potentially productive. Billy questioned Adam and Tucker about the topic of their conversation.

Tucker played it off as Adam giving him grief regarding his handling of the former McCall Unlimited. But Billy sensed otherwise.

Jack was curious as to why Adam volunteered that he had dirt on Tucker. Billy’s reply, about Adam wanting to trade that intel for something useful establishes the next move in this high-level game that involves many characters on Y&R.
