The Young and the Restless spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is opening himself up again. He’s chosen to believe that love isn’t elusive and past failures don’t determine destiny.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has her sights set on Jack. She knows that this influential, wealthy, man is fond of her. If Sally plays her daytime cards right Los Angeles, California, will remain a past tense reference and Genoa City, Wisconsin, could become her longtime home.

This scenario could be written in a number of directions. On the upside, Sally becomes Jack’s love interest, wife, and potentially the mother of his next child. On the downside, Jack turns on her.

If Jack is falling in love with Sally, then he’ll give her every benefit of the doubt. In short order, Jack will also begin fiercely defending Hope’s character. He’s done the same when backing other ladies who he’s fallen for.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was recently targeted by Sally. She took what is still a rumor and used it to attack him. Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) is gleefully behind this effort.

Splitting the Abbott family would serve Sally well. Whether Jack allows that to happen would be the type of bet that the old Billy Abbott (as then played by Billy Miller) would make.

Y&R Spoilers – Skyle Backed By Smilin’ Jack Abbott

Summer Newman (as now played by Hunter King) was delivered in an elevator by Jack. That bond he maintains with Summer’s mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), makes him a Skyle supporter.

Of course Jack supports his son. Yes, during his younger days, Kyle was misguided and bonded with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) of all people.

But thankfully, long before the recast to Mealor, Jack and Kyle have been solid. And on that plot point, a realized romantic link, or more with Sally would require the audience to suspend disbelief to a significant extent.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Won’t Quit

Sally is a crossover character from The Bold and the Beautiful. But Hope’s photo has remained on B&B’s cast page. That’s curious and appears to imply that her stay on Y&R won’t be for years to come.

Viewers could be watching Sally’s slow-roll return to B&B playing out right now. The Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) storyline might facilitate a forced exit.

In the meantime, a teased romantic connection or an actual one with Jack makes for good soap.
