The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will put out a distress call to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). His sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has been acting strange and an intervention is needed, whether Ashley wants one or not!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Losing Time And Acting Strange
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and others have noticed Ashley losing time and acting strange, even Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) can attest to it.
She acts like she’s going between different personalities according to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Others have seen the transformation as well although Ashley will deny it-she’ll just say she drank too much on an empty stomach.
Jack, Diane Abbott, (Susan Walters) Traci and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are all talking about Ashley when she comes in.
She denies there’s any problem, and then Tucker walks in as well-she says well, now the gang’s all here.
Y & R Spoilers – Just Family When Sharon’s Called
But it’s just family, minus Tucker, minus Billy and Diane isn’t even there when a call for help’s put out to Sharon, and she comes over right away.
Sharon isn’t doing a lot of counseling work these days but the Abbotts are family friends and she’s glad to come to the Abbott mansion.
Jack has told her what’s been going on with his sister, and when she arrives she sees Ashley, troubled, sitting on the couch with Traci.
Ashley has had a history of breakdowns in the past and Sharon knows the situation could be serious, remembering her coming to a social function bragging about a miscarried baby.
Ashley couldn’t deal with her loss and bragged about a towel wrapped up in her arms and called it baby Robert.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Intervention Needed, Evaluation Requested
Sharon still has ties to the mental health facility where Billy helped Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) get in after her suicide attempt.
Billy once dealt with a post-traumatic case of dissociative identity disorder although an alter never emerged-just bizarre behavior stemming from his own loss of a daughter. He had an idea this may be what is happening to Ashley and had confided it to Jack.
The last thing Ashley wants is an intervention but it’s plain that one is needed, because she’s doing things and going places she doesn’t remember afterwards.
If this is what Sharon thinks it is, it’s a very serious condition and Ashley needs professional evaluation as an inpatient-Sharon offers to make it happen.
