Y&R spoilers reveal that Chance is finally getting help for his PTSD. Chance has been struggling so much since he returned to Genoa City. Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) thought that time would heal Chance’s wounds.

However, Abby wasn’t aware of how bad the trauma was for Chance. Finally, Abby supported Chance as he made a difficult phone call. Chance took a name from the list of referrals given to him by Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and made an appointment.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Jahi will be playing Dr. Huffman. Fans will see the character on March 2. It won’t just be one episode, though. It is stated that there will be scenes between Chance and Dr. Huffman for several episodes.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Dr. Huffman could just be part of Chance’s PTSD storyline. However, fans know that sometimes characters will become part of several storylines. So, we might see Dr. Huffman interacts with Abby, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and perhaps even Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

If the character stays on for a while, maybe he can be a new love interest for Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose). Keep in mind, there is no word on if Dr. Huffman is just temporary or could become a recurring character.

    I’m ok with his being the therapist but loyal fans would rather see the old forgotten ones,ie, Paul, (Doug Davidson) ect. rather than to keep bringing in new blood. I’m loosing interest in these boring plots.

    I'm all for this character coming on to help Chance. I'm tired of seeing him just existing. He needs some serious help now. It would nice if he was on long term.
