The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jeremy’s Got An EMT In His Pocket-Carson Helps Phyllis Fake Her Death?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) has EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) in his pocket to help Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fake her death.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has already been set up as Phyllis’ murderer by that catfight in the hotel room where Diane was choking her; although that was not planned.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Pushed Her Buttons

Phyllis lured her to that room while she was set up to think her son was sick specifically to push her buttons and rile her up and get her to fight. Jack Abbott, (Peter Bergman) Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) coming in and witnessing Diane choking Phyllis on a desk was a bonus.

Phyllis couldn’t have planned that better if she’d tried-but the problem was, they all sided in with Diane, knowing that Phyllis had lured and provoked her.

Diane was livid and she actually voiced her threats to strangle the life out of Phyllis. But they know Phyllis well enough that they knew it was a set up for Diane’s “true self” to show.

Y & R Spoilers – They’re Going To Need Some Help

For Jeremy and Phyllis to pull off this scam, they’re going to need some help-Phyllis might legitimately be passed out due to sleeping pills or something else, but that’s not murder. They’ll either need a doctor or at least a paramedic to call a code, and possibly provide lifesaving measures that can be witnessed; of course, the lifesaving measures won’t work.

Phyllis will be pronounced “dead” and Diane’s planted engagement ring will be in Phyllis hand, showing evidence of Diane’s culpability. The narrative, of course, will be she killed Phyllis to retrieve her engagement ring-kind of weak, but it might work.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cutting A Deal With The Coroner

Of course, Jeremy will also be cutting a deal with the coroner, or the fake death won’t be of any use. Whether Phyllis will have to agree to lie in a drawer in the morgue is an entirely different story, but she’s so desperate to get rid of Diane she’ll probably agree. Since all other measures have failed, putting her away for murder one is all they think they’ve got left, even though that isn’t getting Jeremy back his money.

Since he met Phyllis and got involved with her, Jeremy doesn’t really mention all that money Diane stole from him. Maybe it’s because he’s got plans in hand to get it back some other way.
