The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jill Is Lying – Did She Concoct A Plan To Save Billy From Himself?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that offscreen Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) health has taken a turn for the worse.

She’s off getting heart treatment that is being overseen by her brother Snapper Foster. On the heels of another Billy Boy implosion, his boo, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), called Jill in the hopes that she could help him.

How much of a coincidence is it that Jill had a setback smack dab in the middle of Billy’s latest stupid business move?

Jill has spent her life trying to help Billy walk the straight and narrow and we wouldn’t be surprised one bit if she lied about her condition in a bid to get Billy to back off running Chancellor.

Did Jill Lie to Billy?

Sally called Jill to say that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) offered Billy the chance to run Chancellor after he raided Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) companies.

Billy is in lust with Chancellor and yet no one thinks he can do a good job of running it. It seems like Cane only offered the company to Billy because he feels sorry for him and he basically admitted it.

How would Jill know about the Chancellor chaos before Sally called her? Easy—she and Victor are pals and he is gutted about NE being stolen by Cane.

He could have easily reached out to Jill in anticipation of Sally calling her for help. Victor and Jill have a long history with Chancellor and neither want it to fail.

In other words, it’s within the realm of possibility that Victor and Jill schemed to guilt Billy into not accepting the Chancellor offer.

Are Victor and Jill in Cahoots?

If they did indeed hatch the plan, it almost worked. Billy was gutted to hear about his mom and later called her. Even though he got teary with her, the situation wasn’t enough to make him forego getting his hands on Chancellor.

Instead, it emboldened him and he later crowed to Cane that he wants his mom to know he’s not a quitter and will stick it to Victor. What could go wrong?

For starters, it looks like Sally is ready to leave him over his brash acceptance of Chancellor. And Victor and his family are plotting revenge on the evil doers who trashed his legacy which means that Billy is in the line of fire. Is there anything Jill can do to save Billy now?
