Fans know that Nick and Sharon are involved in other relationships right now, but they are spending a lot of time together trying to make sure hotheaded Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) stays out of trouble.

She’s a teen, and if that isn’t enough her peers are bullying her. She’s been caught out lying and drinking but recently agreed to go to therapy.

Of Shick, Morrow said, “He can provide her with a lot of things. There’s nothing going on (between Sharon and Nick) and I actually like that. They’re being grown-up about each other’s relationship. Right now, they’re doing everything they can do to help their daughter.”

Y&R Spoilers – Shick Are Not Happening

He went on to say, “They’re grown-ups now. People change. They experience things differently. They’ll always love each other. They’ll [likely] get back into bed [with each other] at some point over some traumatic experience, but at this moment that is something neither of them are thinking about. They’re happy that the other is in a stable relationship.”

Well, as stable as stable can be when one part of the relationship is Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Joshua Morrow Plays Nick Newman

Morrow had this to say about Phick: “Honestly, they’re just enjoying each other right now. There’s no pressure or stress to take it any further. Nick’s life is essentially turmoil-free, right now. Phyllis always has some kind of turmoil in her life. They’re not talking about getting married or are involved with other people romantically. They’re just enjoying each other – (wryly) from six feet away.”

What happens next in Genoa City, Wisconsin? Nick will no doubt want to continue to help Faith and by extension Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) who has been poisoned. Will Nick help to catch the perp who has been messing with Sharon’s husband? What if the bad guy is actually Sharon?!
