Nick and Sally seem to be getting busy here, there, and anywhere since they gave into their powerful and instantaneous mutual attraction to each other. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) nearly walked in on them doing the dirty a couple of different times, and didn’t take long to figure out what was going on. Adam just has to eat his plate of crow and realize he had his chance with Sally and blew it; she’s moved on.

Nick and Sally’s affair, if you want to call it that, was totally unexpected for both of them. All they had to do was shake hands and then spontaneously combust!

Y & R Spoilers – Discretion Is Difficult

Discretion can be difficult when a couple has chemistry like that – although it would behoove them to at least try, it would be really bad optics if discovered. As for Sally, this is the fastest rebound she’s ever experienced, so both of them just decided why fight it and just go with the flow. But people can tell, oh, can they ever tell, and some are better at noticing body language and vibes than others, and Adam is one of them. Inevitably, even if Adam keeps what he suspects to himself, someone else will notice and call them on it, or even worse, walk in on them en delicto flagrante.

It’s bad enough when a toddler walks in on his or her parents having sex, and all of a sudden the birds and bees talk becomes a priority. It’s mortifying if a teenager has that experience, and sometimes they think how gross for “old people” to be doing the dirty, like peoples’ sex lives end with the first child. Sally is 31 and Summer is 27, and therefore, Nick is old enough to be Sally’s father; imagine Summer and Kyle’s horror at seeing them naked and in the act.

Summer can’t unsee that and neither can Kyle; for him, he’s horrified to see his father in law with his own father’s ex-flirtation. As for Summer, she’s horrified to see her dad in the midst of what has to be a mid-life crisis, and they quietly back out before ‘Snick’ realize they’ve been busted!
