Alienating himself from his parents shows how far Kyle has spun out of reality. Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) just restored their bond after a decades-long absence due to her faked death. Inventing tension, where zero needed to exist, is entirely Kyle’s fault.

His falling out with Diane naturally led to problems with his father. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) tried to be supportive but had to side with Diane.

Kyle’s alliance with Victor replays a scenario dedicated fans recall from daytime days gone by. Victor did serve as a mentor to him but also intentionally used that connection as a jab at Jack. The same is being mined now, with Kyle’s reckless behavior being exploited toward collapsing Jabot.

It’s outrageous that Kyle is going along with such a plot.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Still Cares For Kyle Abbott

Summer is with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), but their relationship is in its early stages. He understands the tension, having just walked in on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fighting at Abbott Chancellor.

Victor’s goals are huge, as he also wants to take over AC hostilely. The target is Billy, and Lily is drawn into that unfolding scene.

Kyle is too full of himself to realize it, but Summer looks out for Harrison’s and his best interests. He may awaken and do what’s right for his son, family, and himself before he crosses the soapy Rubicon in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
