The Young and the Restless spoilers show that after fresh secrets come to light, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might actually fire Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Let’s talk about what’s coming because Diane and Kyle’s mother-son relationship could suffer greatly.

Diane’s partner in crime is Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), which is obviously a big deal and something Diane should’ve revealed sooner rather than later. Kyle will discover that his mother has continued to keep information from him once the connection between Diane and Tucker is made clear.

Being associated with Tucker won’t be advantageous for Diane because of his tumultuous past with several people in GC. This is especially true given that Y&R spoilers indicate Tucker is also planning some fresh schemes. Kyle might start to wonder what else Diane is concealing and what she might continue to conceal from him. He may decide to let Diane go at Marchetti because she has a real problem telling the truth.

Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) require team members they can rely on, but Diane is about to demonstrate that she is completely unreliable. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) already knew that, but Kyle might have a major awakening and decide to fire Diane.

Of course, Kyle might change his mind later, but he might be sufficiently alarmed by Diane’s secrets to release her in the interim. When Diane broke the rules in the past, Kyle was forced to fire her; however, in this situation, Kyle might take the initiative. Regardless, Diane will attempt to contain the damage after her Tucker alliance is revealed, but she still runs the risk of losing both Kyle’s trust in her and her job.
