The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will demand a paternity test from Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Her unexpected arrival in Genoa City, Wisconsin, represents an attempt to squash Kyle’s awareness of her son’s existence and his potential genetic connection to Harrison Locke (no actor known to be cast for this role).

As the above is developing, it will be even more apparent that Kyle should have immediately shared what Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) asserted with Summer Newman (Hunter King). While he apparently doesn’t know the truth, Theo believes that Harrison’s supposed physical resemblance to Kyle proves paternity.

Y&R fans recall that Kyle’s off-screen time in New York was mined in the past. Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) was the young lady who Kyle and Theo were connected to. Their interaction basically was revealed as an embarrassing and misguided interaction, rather than some horrid event.

Theo’s hype of that situation and his choice to bring Zoe to town during the Kola wedding didn’t damage Kyle. Instead, Zoe eventually got herself into trouble by spiking punch bowls at the opening of the Grand Phoenix Hotel and was arrested. Theo’s reputation also took a deep hit.

The new negative nostalgic spin saw Theo pass a spitball to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). She believes the Tara drop keeps Skyle in check and for the moment, that’s true.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Didn’t Learn His Lesson

Reacting in panic is the first mistake Kyle made. He can’t allow Theo or Sally to manipulate his emotions at will, or they’ll use that enabled power repeatedly.

Johnson’s now recurring character seeing Tara is suspicious all on its own. Even if that happenstance occurred, Kyle has to know that Theo’s perception of a physical resemblance is not proof of anything.

Kyle didn’t need to act in the manner he did when contacting Tara directly. He could have discretely hired someone to check into the matter. But Kyle, like the younger version of his father, can be pushed off-course.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Will Have A Choice To Make

Summer loves Kyle. That’s why Skyle exists, as Kyle should know.

King’s character has a choice to make when she learns who Harrison is, whether he proves to be Kyle’s son or not. Summer has become wiser and more controlled than Kyle.

So, Summer likely will be able to see over Theo and Sally’s manipulative measures and support Mealor’s character. It won’t be instantaneous, but Skyle could be surprisingly strengthened shortly after the time the climax to this storyline is reached.
