The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Lexie Stevenson Dishes About Competing In Miss California

Lexie Stevenson, who plays Mattie Ashby on “The Young and the Restless,” has been chosen as Miss Miracle Mile USA to represent the district of Los Angeles in the Miss CA Pageant 2020.

Stevenson shared she could not be happier now that she has been chosen to represent her district. She had been competing in many pageants long before she moved to LA three years ago, and it is time that she gets back to what she is passionate about.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Lexie Stevenson’s Cause

In her Instagram post, Stevenson shared what she wants to achieve by winning the crown of Miss CA 2020. She wrote, “My goal in my journey to the crown is to spread Endometriosis awareness and should I win the Miss CA USA title I will continue to work tirelessly with @endofound and the Miss CA USA system to make that happen on an even bigger level.”

Endometriosis is a disorder where tissues that normally line the uterus start to grow in other pelvic areas, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. This gynecological condition is debilitating, crushing many women’s dream of being a mom, or making their pregnancy a bit more complicated.

Aside from the physical challenges, endometriosis also has a psychological impact on women, affecting their self-confidence, body image, and relationships with other people.

Y&R Spoilers – Lexie Stevenson as Mattie

Stevenson took on the role of Mattie Ashby in May 2017. It was when Mattie and Charlie, her twin brother, were SORAS-ed into teenagers. Mattie, at that time, had to deal with the collapse of her parent’s marriage and her mother getting imprisoned. She also had a brief relationship with Reed Hellstrom.

Mattie was last seen on “The Young and the Restless” in April 2019 during Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) funeral.

Lexie Stevenson was born in the small town of Brunswick in Maine. She started performing at a young age of 5 and debuted in stage productions. She performed in theater productions, such as Alice in Wonderland and High School Musical.

She joined the Miss Maine Teen USA pageant and bagged first runner-up in 2014 and 2015. She moved to California after graduating from high school, and six months later, she was able to book her first major role in “The Young and the Restless” as Mattie.
