The Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers January 6 to January 10: Aftermath Of Nick And Chelsea’s Break Up, Will Adam Go Back To His Bad Side?

The Young and the Restless promo for the week of January 6th thru 10th indicates there will be fallout from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) break up, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) possibly going back to the dark side.
Nick and Chelsea’s break up
Last week, viewers saw Nick and Chelsea end their relationship. When Nick realized Chelsea was still in love with Adam, he decided to let her go.
This week Nick is focused on moving on with his life. He’s seen having lunch with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and telling his friend that he’s single again. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) overhears the news and asks Nick if Chelsea dumped him.
Phyllis has been concerned with her ex and felt that Chelsea was stringing Nick along. Even though she’s going to feel sorry for Nick, in a way Phyllis will be happy that Chelsea’s out of Nick’s life.
Nick’s break up with Chelsea could possibly lead to a reunion with Phyllis. As for Nick’s thoughts on Adam and Chelsea, as he explains he doesn’t think things will end well.
Chadam reunion
Y&R fans were ecstatic when Chelsea and Adam reunited. They’re happy that the couple and their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) can be a family again.
Even though Chelsea said she wants to take things slow, she and Adam soon hit the sheets.

With her and Adam back together, Chelsea decides to share the news with her friend Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Chelsea explains she can’t deny the feelings she has for him, and she thinks they need to give it another shot.
Chloe is less than thrilled and warns Chelsea that Adam’s a sociopath.
So is Chloe right about Adam and should Chelsea be concerned?

Is Adam returning to the dark side?
While Chelsea and Adam are happy to be back together. Others are worried that Adam’s going to fall back into bad habits and ruin everything.
Adam promised Chelsea he was going to work hard to become a better man. He knows a lot is at stake and Chelsea makes him promise that she’s not going to lose him again.
Yet, it seems Adam may be headed towards the dark side.
He’s seen talking with his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who asks if Adam’s going to break any rules. Adam responds he’ll break every rule in the book.
It’s no telling if Adam and Victor’s talk has anything to do with Chelsea and Connor, or if the two men are secretly working on some type of business deal.
Either way, all eyes are going to be on Adam to see if he’s really changed or if he goes back to his bad side.

Of course, eventually he will. Whatever happened between Adam and Chance will surface and it can’t be a good thing, otherwise they wouldn’t keep it a secret and once it is out I’m sure its going to affect Chelsea and Adam. Secrets always have away of coming out and when they do, nothing good will come from them. Adam has always been meant to be a bad guy on the show, and he will never change. Nick should just turn his back on both of them, they have both only caused him trouble, Chelsea always knew he’d be there for her so she would take advantage of Nick, knowing he would always be there.
