The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Little Girl Lucy’s Going Through Major Changes-Are Her Sheila Carter Genes Coming Out?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease little girl Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) going through some major changes since entering her teenage years. Longtime viewers know that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) isn’t Lucy’s birth mom-Daisy Carter (Yvonne Zima) is, and Lucy’s maternal grandparents carry some very bad genes!

Of course it depends upon whether one believes in nature, or nurture, but there seems to be signs of Lucy acting like her maternal grandmother Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Even though Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather, more Heather than Daniel, raised Lucy the best they could to instill a sense of self-worth, it doesn’t seem to have taken.

Lucy seems to have an almost maniacal need for the acceptance of others, and pushes the envelope to be accepted unconditionally, and doesn’t feel she already is.

Her maternal grandfather had evil genes too, although there must be some hope she won’t take after him-Tom Fisher (Roscoe Born).

Her uncle, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) had a bad start but straightened out eventually; but with Sheila and Tom genes, Lucy may turn out to be very bad news!

Y & R Spoilers – Pushing The Envelope And Taking Risks

Like a teenage Sheila, Lucy’s pushing the envelope and taking risks, all in the name of her desire for unconditional love, which she can’t accept is already there from her parents.

Unlike Sheila, there was no abuse from a father or a stepfather although with Daniel’s problems there has been some insecurity-he and Heather had broken up a couple of times.

Lucy wants to hang with an older crowd, because others her age don’t seem to accept her-but that may simply be her own misperception.

Admittedly, it’s hard to believe others accept you when you don’t accept yourself, and that may be the real root of Lucy’s troubles.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sheila And Tom Were Both Murderers

Lucy’s gene pool doesn’t look very good, considering Sheila and Tom were both murderers-if indeed she got more from her mom’s side than she did from her dad’s.

But she has seemed to mirror parts of a teenage Daniel as well, especially with her proclivity to alcohol abuse; Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) verbal beat down didn’t help.

Lucy was crestfallen when mama bear Sharon came out and forbad her to ever see Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) again, and Daniel, angry at Sharon chastised her.

What will Lucy do next to try and get attention, even though in reality, she’s getting plenty of attention and acceptance, she just can’t feel it. Some of her actions recently borderline those of a sociopath, and Sharon should have been able to recognize a very troubled girl!
