Doctors advised her not to get pregnant for at least a year. So, her bright idea is for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to get knocked up. Tessa will tell Mariah that it’s not the right time, but it falls on deaf ears.

Then, Mariah was found and gave birth before Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) could get her to a hospital. Mariah had to hand the baby over and she’s been having a hard time coping ever since.

Mariah and Tessa moved out of the Chancellor manse and are currently staying in a hotel. Suddenly, Mariah came up with a plan on how she would recover from her trauma. Mariah’s idea is to have a baby of her own and wants Tessa to get pregnant.

Tessa didn’t say much to Mariah because she wants to tread carefully. However, Tessa knows that this is not the right time. Tessa is at the height of her career for one thing. More importantly, Mariah wants a baby for all the wrong reasons. She thinks a baby will fix all of her problems. Plus, Tessa isn’t exactly on board but Mariah isn’t really getting that.

Tessa will talk to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about the situation. Sharon advises Tessa to be completely honest with Mariah. So, she decides that there is no other option but to tell Mariah the truth.

“Sharon advises Tessa to share her feelings with Mariah because stringing her along is going to make this a lot worse… Tessa tries to be as truthful as possible — but that doesn’t mean Mariah hears this the first time.”

Y&R Spoilers – Baby Frenzy

A few weeks ago, Fairbanks teased to Soaps.com that this could be a major conflict for Tessa and Mariah. The actress implied that the couple might even break up over it. Then, in a previous issue of SOD, Grimes said that the trauma was going to cause so many problems for Mariah. She hinted that Mariah’s mental state would get worse before it gets better.

It is teased that Mariah will drop hints all over Genoa City that she’s going to have a baby with Tessa. So, when Tessa drops the truth bomb, Mariah won’t want to hear it. When she finally does realize Tessa doesn’t want a baby right now, she might consider it a betrayal. With how forceful and frenzied Mariah is behaving, just how far will she go to have a baby of her own? Could she plan on making it happen without Tessa’s help?
