The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is on his way back to Genoa City and many fans are looking forward to seeing a familiar face come back to the daytime soap. The announcement has had a lot of fans wondering when and why he will be coming back and what it will mean for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Is he intertwined in one of the storylines going on right now or did someone reach out to him to come to talk to Phyllis as she has seemingly gone off the deep end?

One thing is for certain, when he gets to town there’s going to be a lot happening and he will surely get involved in the middle of one of these stories. While we’re looking forward to seeing him come back, so is Michelle Stafford, who is excited to see her on-screen son come back.

In a long Instagram post, Stafford shared a screenshot of a message from Graziadei after the Boston Bruins lost the Stanley Cup that showed that he was pretty upset that his team lost, but Stafford lightened the mood by claiming that they lost because he didn’t go to the bar.

This apparently is just one of the many amazing text exchanges between them and spoke about how great he is as a friend and an actor. Stafford wrote, “I have many amazing text exchanges with @goodgriefcharliebrown here is one I can actually show… it was right after the Boston Bruins lost the Stanley Cup to the St.Louis Blues I believe 4 years ago… I could be wrong on the year. Any sports fan will understand this exchange… Grazzz loves his sports and it is one of the many things I love about him.”

She continued to talk about playing a mother on the show, and how scared she was, but how quickly she fell in love with Graz as an actor and human, “Years ago when they aged my son on #YR I was completely freaked out having never played a mother to a grown adult in my life. I quickly fell in love with the Grazzzz as did our entire cast. He is beyond an outstanding actor. He is also an outstanding human. he is joy personified. It is my pleasure and the pleasure of every other cast member at #YR to have him back!! Happy Birthday GRAZZZZZZ!”

Y&R Spoilers – Welcome Back To Genoa City Daniel Romalotti!

We anxiously await the return of Daniel and according to Stafford, he should have no issues sliding back into the show and the cast. It sounds like they loved him and it will be fun to see him interact again with everyone. It’s felt like forever, the last time we saw him in Genoa City was in 2016.
