The Young and the Restless spoilers show that the talented Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) has taken a step back from Genoa City and has been focusing on something else. However, that something else has been a bit of a mystery.

Over the last few months, Morgan has been teasing fans about a new role or project coming up, dropping tiny hints here and there about what it could possibly be, however, she maintained its secrecy. Until now.

While she has played two characters in Genoa City, she can look to a new role on NBC, this time, not as a lawyer or gossip talk show host, but as a doctor! It looks like that time she spent with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has been paying off.

Morgan finally made the announcement on her Instagram page saying, “Meet Dr. Petra Dupre! Catch me on ChicagoMed this week! @nbcchicagomed @nbconechicago @nbc #chicago #newrole #thedocsinthehouse #seeyouontv #drpetradupre” and fans went crazy at the news. Not only has she made the jump to a new role, but she will be appearing on the popular ‘Chicago Med’ series as Dr. Petra Dupre!

Y&R Spoilers – Fans Are Thrilled About The News

While her co-star Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings) teased her a little bit, saying, “Hmmm you look like you should be on a Soap Opera… just saying 🤫” Her fans were excited to see her making the leap to a series like ‘Chicago Med’ and are confident that she is going to do great there!
