The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 1 reveal that Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) could get an opportunity. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) have a hostile moment. Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) continues with his deception.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Nate and Devon have experienced some conflict. Even though they are trying to get along, the men have very different styles when it comes to business. When Devon agreed to the merger, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) made assurances.
Devon was promised that he would continue to be the decision maker and would not lose control. However, that seemed to go out the window when Nate made his bold announcement at the launch party. Devon bit his tongue but don’t expect him to remain silent. In Monday’s episode, Nate and Devon experience some hostility while working together.

Nate’s frustration with Devon will be an opportunity for Imani. Fans have already seen Imani push Nate to take risks and make bold moves. When Nate and Devon get into an argument, Imani could take advantage of the opportunity.
Imani will shower Nate with praise, making him feel powerful and puffed up. Imani will probably mention how much they have in common. Imani might even tell Nate that she is the only one that understands his vision. If Nate falls for this, it could bring Imani closer to getting her paws on Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) man.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 1 reveal that Victor will continue with damage control. Victor has made some deceptive moves to protect Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). This will continue, especially now that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) body has been found.
Although it appears that Ashland was in a car accident, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) knows that’s not the case.

Fans can expect Victor to continue having Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) clean up the mess from Ashland’s death. However, Chance doesn’t seem like he is willing to sweep Ashland’s murder under the rug. So, there could be some major conflict between Chance and Victor.

The Newman’s need to go down. Everyone who doesn’t go by their rules are wrong. That is not real life. They need to be held accountable.
Imani is doing a great job of being a bad girl character. Will she survive an off screen now favorite car crash death, not if its between her or Sally getting a paycheck. Sally seems to be the sort that the show likes to keep around. Personally I think one brassy redhead is enough.
I can’t stand Imani either, I don’t like how she manipulate Nate, and I love Sally I hope she stays around for a while.

I could care less about most of the Newmans. Except for Adam.. I am tired of seeing him try so hard only to get the screws by all of them. If he didn’t warn Victoria that Ashland wanted blood. It may have been Victoria who lost her life. That is the only reason Nick went to check on her. At least Adam was totally honest about his visit with Ashland. I’d like to see Miss high and mighty Victoria have a nervous breakdown. But first give dues to Adam for giving her fair warning. Have them reinstated Adam and let him be happy for more then ten minutes. I cannot stand the manipulative and cocky attitude of Diane. She always has an agenda and is ready to manipulate any given situation. She knows exactly what she is doing. I want her to go down. Billy gets on my last nerve. He’s like this little kid always trying to get approval. He screws everything up he touches. I love Nick and would love to see him and Sharon have another go at love. Don’t care for needy Chelsea either. Imani is just a conniving controlling bitch who wants what is taken. Love Amanda and. Would like to see her take her sister down a few notches. Maybe they should both be fired and see what they accomplish then. Chance is a bit over done. It was not premeditated murder. He needs to back off and stop harnessing Nick. Victor could get charged with disturbing the scene of a homicide. But with the best lawyers and what Victoria was going through he probably would get off. But Victor needs to give Adam some real respect. He has done everything expected of him.
