The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 23 reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) agrees to call a truce. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) confronts Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about his secret. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) digs into Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) strikes a nerve.
Phyllis Summers’ Truce
Y&R spoilers for Monday reveal that Phyllis will agree to call a truce with an enemy. There could be any number of people that this refers to, including Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). However, we don’t think that Sally is the person that Phyllis calls a truce with.
It must be someone else, such as Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). After all, Ashland has allowed Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) to live with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King). If Ashland is going to remain on good terms with “Skyle,” then Phyllis might be encouraged to play nice with Ashland.
Y&R Spoilers: Lily Winter’s Discovery
On Monday, Lily confronts Billy and demands an explanation. She calls Billy out for keeping a secret from her. What secret is he keeping and how will Lily react to the truth? Does this have to do with Ashland and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)? Or does this secret have to do with something or someone else? Is it the type of secret that could have a negative impact on their relationship?
Victor Newman Investigates
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) has asked Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for a favor. He agreed to use his resources to help find Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). That is no the only person that Victor’s only investigation, though. The patriarch will also be looking into Ashland’s past. It is teased that he ends up coming with a shocking bombshell.

On Monday, Victor will settle unfinished business with Ashland. Nikki will strike a nerve with her daughter, but Victoria will fiercely defend Ashland. Plus, Sally will overhear a conversation that involves Summer. It will cause Sally to come up with another scheme but will this be her downfall?

Ridiculous storyline !!!! Git rid of head writer Josh Griffin !!!!!
This storyline with Miriah would have been a good one, if played out like others. Miriah missing, knowone looking for her, that does not make since. But other storylines come first. What someone missing does not be a storyline, I don"t get it. This could have been a good one. Get rid of Ashland,Tara gone,theo,gone Chance gone,Paul gone,Lola gone some good actors and actresses gone. What is going on here or am I missing something important, I watch everyday, my favorite show. Then ones brought in are bad. Love to see Traci back love her she is down to earth. Now time to find Miriah and baby and see why,when,where and who has her. She needs some heroes now. Who will it be to rescue her and baby. Should be Nick and Sharon they are her parents. Nickneeds to rescue her and let her know she is his daughter to.
Sick of Phyllis. She love to brag about herself, pat herself on the back, and stir up trouble. Time to get rid of Phyllis, she has no real story line. She over acts, slinks around, dresses wrong for her age. She is not in her twenties. Dump her.
Hate hate hate sally. Rey is also the worst.
The Mariah story did have potential, as did in the beginning Chance and Abby's story, trying for a family. However the head of this writing team has let his writers drop the ball and this sadly is impacting the actors and their characters. The initial story should NEVER have been allowed to evolve into a story where a child is being conceived like a designer puppy. There were points where I could see Bimbo Abby carting the kid around like old Paris Hilton in a designer dog purse. Then there is Abby, poor, pathetic Abby, seriously if I was this actress I'd look for a new job! I had high hopes when she married chance, I hoped the writers would finally take her from bimbo to a grown, beautiful woman but no, she is more Malibu Cocktail Barbie than ever. Who can respect a character dressing like a 14 year old going on a date whilst supposedly being worried about her friend and child. In this situation the last thing any woman would be doing is putting on her mascara, lipstick and pulling out her hot pink 80s mini skirt like all she has in mind is getting it on with her ivey league boyfriend. Please give us fans some credit this mess has been insulting from the get go. No disrespect to the actors, they are all doing the best it's the material which is letting them down.
Sick of the kidnapping story- stupid! Fast forward anytime Sally is even on the screen.
