However, Stafford said that Phyllis sees a younger version of herself when she looks at Sally.

Sally’s scheming isn’t the only similarity between the two women. They have similar coloring and features. They also have similar ways that they go about getting what they want. If they put aside their issues with one another, they would see just how alike they are. There is a theory that there is a reason why Sally and Phyllis are so much alike. It is teased that the reason is also connected to why Phyllis and Sally are being pitted against each other so fiercely.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that nearly everyone in Genoa City is connected in some way. In fact, even Sally mentioned this lately and it might not have been a coincidence. How many times in soaps have warring characters found out they were actually genetically connected? It’s happened quite often and we can’t help but wonder if Sally and Phyllis also share a secret connection.

Y&R Spoilers – Mother/Daughter Bombshell?

Right now, most people in Genoa City are furious with Sally. At some point, she will either have to be redeemed or something will need to connect her to at least one other person in town. There is reason to believe that Sally and Summer could be half-sisters, and Phyllis could gain another daughter. It would explain why Phyllis sees so much of herself in Sally and will give these characters a chance to put their issues aside.

The question is if Sally really is Phyllis’ daughter, then what is the backstory? Will the soap rewrite history in order for it to make sense? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out what happens next with these characters.
