The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, January 21: Billy Gets Revenge, Lily Devastated – Phyllis And Sharon Fear Newman’s Turning On Them

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 21, 2019 begins with Cane (Daniel Goddard) asking Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) to keep the house together as he is going back to see Lily (Christel Khalil). Cane denies there is any urgency and just feels like being spontaneous and see his wife. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) is already at the prison, waiting for Lily to appear.
Arturo (Jason Canela) brings Abby (Melissa Ordway) some flowers at Crimson, when Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) advises him if he has found the right woman, to never let her go; as he says this he is looking at Sharon (Sharon Case). Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) wants to meet with Sharon for a potential lucrative business opportunity, but as Sharon wants to pass, Phyllis says that would be a HUGE mistake.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Abby Gets Shocking News
Rey feels him and Abby will never see eye to eye when it comes to her dad, Victor (Eric Braeden) but both believe they can be cordial. He shocks her when Rey tells her that Victor is out on bail, once again she is left in total darkness. Abby immediately leaves, but Rey stops Arturo, saying they need to clear up a few things.
Sharon arrives at Jabot, where Phyllis reveals she is checking her MO out of necessity and trusting Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will land them in jail. Rey talks to Arturo about the flowers he bought, reminding him about how their father did the same thing always to cover up what he did on the side. Rey is happy for him and Abby but he hopes leading their murder investigation isn’t causing any static between the two of them. Rey says as a cop you’re always trying to make sure everyone is safe and happy and do the right thing; but when it comes to loved ones they need to tread lightly or relationships can circle the drain.
He insists family comes first as Arturo admits he is thinking of settling down with Abby; something neither of them thought they would see the day. Arturo is very apologetic for what happened with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) but Rey tells him they hashed it out even though he broke his heart. He says they got through it and him and Mia are stronger than ever and he has his brother back.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Arturo And Rey’s Heart to Heart
Arturo reminds Rey that what he did when their dad left took courage; Arturo feels he should have been a better brother to Rey as he was more of a father and role model than their dad ever was. They stand and hug each other emotionally as Mia walks in.
Lily is thrilled to see Billy, wanting to know why he is there. At home, Cane dodges answering any of Mattie’s questions, so she shows the facts and wants the truth. He admits something happened the last time he went to see Lily and simply needs to see her in person to make it right. Mattie decides that she is going with him.
Lily gives Billy the prison memo about how to act when you visit an inmate. She likes the compliment and visitor. He says it was an overdue visit as she wants to know what else is happening in Genoa City. She is frustrated that her family is tip toeing around the gossip, so Billy reveals that Victor might be in the men’s wing; but she already knows that from the news. She wants to hear about scandal and rumors.
Rey tells Mia that it is a good day to move on, and now that Rey is in love with Abby, it might not be long before their family expands. Rey leaves as Mia tells him the flowers are a nice touch to feel less guilty. He tells Mia to back off, but she says the only reason they are happy is because Abby doesn’t know Arturo has it bad for his sister-in-law. He insists he needs to get away from her and she needs to work on her marriage to Rey; if she knows what is good for her, she would drop this. Mia takes the flowers when Abby reappears, Mia taunts her saying of all the women Arturo could have, he chose her!
Young And The Restless Spoilers – News Of Victor’s Release Spreads
Sharon calls Phyllis paranoid but she quickly learns that Victor has been released on bail, which means the entire Newman clan will be closing ranks and they will be the ones at risk. Victor needs to prove his innocence as Nikki is about to spill her guts. She needs to face some ugly truths, the entire Newman family will do anything they can to keep Nikki out of prison and that would include pinning the murder on them.
Mia tells Abby to enjoy this while she can as Arturo will never settle down, but Abby insists that Arturo has changed. Mia snaps back that when Arturo came over the other night to fix the heat, it felt like old times for them – Abby had no idea Arturo was with Mia the night of the storm and says it is never good when you’re boyfriend hides things from her. Mia says she isn’t worried about her relationship, but Abby should be!
Cane smiles at Mattie’s idea and he loves that she wants to be part of this, but he needs to do this alone. She finally admits if it is that bad, she is better off being in the dark and he cannot come back until he’s fixed it. He holds her, promising that everything will be okay.
Lily is shocked to learn that Fen (Zach Tinker) is the newest pop star, but she isn’t worried about Mattie going different way. Lily tells Billy he has lost his touch for lying and feels if there is something going on, he needs to be honest and tell her.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Tells Lily About Cane And Victoria
Billy says the kids are fine, other than her being in prison. She goes down the list and when she says “Cane”, she blames herself saying the last visit didn’t end well. She knows Billy isn’t his biggest fan but Cane has stepped it up and knowing he misses her as much as she misses him, its the only thing that gets through these days. She orders him to tell her the truth and not be one of those people who hides things. Billy reveals he walked in on Cane and Victoria kissing on the couch like a bunch of teenagers.
Abby throws the flowers at Arturo at the Dark Horse office, confronting him about Mia’s words and him coming there to fix the heat. She feels Mia is trying to break them up. Arturo sits down, apologizing, but feels Mia has always been this way. Abby says exactly what Mia said and he swears the past is a dead issue as Abby is his future and everything. She cries as he holds her.
Sharon feels Phyllis might have a valid point, wondering how much more it will take for Nikki to reveal the whole story; but she feels Nick (Joshua Morrow) would never allow that to happen to the mother of his children. Phyllis says if it were up to Victor, he’d throw them into the moat and save his family, making Nick choose between them and his mother. Sharon swears she will never trust Victor again, but she did see Nick and Victoria’s cars are the ranch today; as Phyllis pushes that they need to act now.
Lily is in denial, but stops Billy from leaving, wanting to hear it again; both thought Cane and Victoria hate each other. Billy says they are not cheating and hasn’t gone beyond kissing, but it happened more than once and he cannot be sure of what would have happened if he didn’t walk in. Lily feels like she is going to be sick, both lost at what is going on. Billy doesn’t want her to destroy herself as she needs to be a model prisoner. Billy is sorry for coming, but she says she had the right to know. She said had she been on the outside, it would have broken her; but being inside is all about survival and she will survive this by any means necessary.
Arturo confronts Mia, asking what he needs to do to keep her out of his relationship. Mia says she is trying to protect him from lady fancy pants, who only sees him as some novelty item as the boyfriend from the wrong side of the tracks. Arturo tells Mia she was his mistake, not Abby. She walks towards him, asking why he didn’t just email or text. She says what they have is real and always will be!
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mia Proposes To Rey
Rey comes home as Arturo says he needs to tell him something that he should have said before; Mia blocks him and brings Rey to the couch, talking about when they got married, she was focused on everything but the man she was about to marry. She admits breaking the promises she made to him as she is not the woman she was then.
She knows that he is the most important person in the world to her and he is the love of her life. She wants to make new promises and prove to everyone that he is the only one that matters to her. She asks Rey to marry her, again. He says nothing will make him happier.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon And Phyllis Fear The Newman’s Will Turn On Them
Sharon tells Phyllis that she didn’t say anything about Victoria and Nikki, as Phyllis continues to push. There is no proof that the Newmans are conspiring against them, but Sharon says she is willing to wait and see because there is one person in the world she trusts less than Victor – Phyllis!! Sharon feels Phyllis would double cross her in a heartbeat if it meant saving her own skin and decides to handle things on her own.
Cane arrives at the prison and is told visiting hours ended 30 minutes ago and she can’t have any more visitors today. Cane learns Billy Abbott came to see Lily a few hours earlier!
