Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has realized generally positive results through his redemptive pursuits. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was not present when Adam was Y&R’s bad boy.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was one of this show’s villains for years. But she has pursued a redemptive course of her own. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has taken notice and has the opportunity to pursue something new with her, rather than fear a repeat of history.

Once upon a soapy time, Adam (as then played by Hayden Tank) was a boy who lived on a farm in Kansas with his mother, Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman). His life seemed idyllic. Decades later TPTB decided to re-imagine (change what was or is into something else for undefined reasons that may or may not be legitimate).

Adam is said to have killed a man when he was a boy, blocked it out, and had that incident covered up by the man he did not yet know what his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Now, in 2022, Adam has dealt with the past and has a stable relationship with his dad.

Victor is pleased with Adam’s personal growth and does not want to see that Spectra woman, as he refers to her, disrupt what was gained in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Sally had a sit-down with Victor a while ago and knows that marrying Adam, which is her goal, is attainable regardless of the opposition.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers And Jack Abbott Are Better Together

Anyone can look at yesterday’s flaws and claim that today and tomorrow will be the same. But anyone who makes those predictions is purely projecting personality rather than speaking with any authority.

Why would anyone in Phyllis or Jack’s family believe that a definitive statement can be made? The fallback response would involve loved ones intending to protect Phyllis, Jack, or both from anticipated pain.

Stafford and Bergman’s characters would be taking a risk by becoming romantically involved again. Two divorces provide double-barreled evidence to all who perceive tomorrow is known. But if Phyllis and Jack believe that their life experiences make them better now, as compared to way back when, then that will be their choice to make.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Once Was And Will Not Be Again

Adam has more than a sketch record with relationships. He has gone over the edge, damaging his so-called loved ones. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is the most recent example. Sally also has a checkered past when it comes to her version of love.

Phyllis and Jack were good for limited segments of time. But she hurt him badly, with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) being involved with Phyllis on more than one occasion.

Momentum is shifting for the four referenced characters. But both parties, in each assumed pairing, will need to enjoy a positive force for the couples to realize relationships and then make them work, even for a short period on Y&R.

      I think both Adam and Sally should start their own business somewhere else without no drama involved. I also think its time for his ex Chelsea to work for Victoria and take Chloe along for the ride.. unless they start their own business somewhere else close to her building. I still don't want these other two exes back together, its old and you know its old Jack and Phyllis.. time to find other dates for them or stay single.

      I don't care for another round of same old hit and repeat with Phyllis and Jack.
      Don't really enjoy the story with slacker Sally either. Wake up writer, women are striving for respect in the workplace and there you write Sally acting like were still living in the 80s, its insulting to hardworking women how this story is being portrayed. Y&R haven't obviously caught up with this generation, they still think showing women trying to sleep their way to promtion is how women should be portrayed and considered entertainment. I feel Sally's character is insulting to women old-fashioned and unimaginative.
