The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Intriguing Behind-The-Scenes Tidbits

Behind the scenes tidbits that Davidson is offering to devoted Y&R fans provide information that they may not have known before. The longtime cast member’s efforts are strongly appreciated during this time of the production shutdown.

Davidson’s reference to the 1980’s location shoot at Griffith Park, which featured Paul and Cassandra, was particularly interesting. Famous movies like Rebel Without a Cause and Jurassic Park, along with various television shows were filmed there.

Walt Disney once sat on a park bench while watching his daughters, who were riding on a carousel, when he conceived of Disneyland. Paul and Cassandra were shown on that famous ride during a Y&R episode.

Y&R Spoilers – George Rawlins’ Outrageous Offer

George Rawlins (Jonathan Farwell) home was actually the most expensive set in the daytime at that time in history. Davidson said that soap opera budgets were very lavish during that era and that particular newly built set cost between one hundred and fifty and two hundred thousand dollars in the late 1980s. That set would roughly cost more than double that amount today.

That storyline had Paul, who was a private detective, working for Rawlins, who was his client and best friend. Rawlins asked Paul to come to his home because he believed his wife Sandy (Cassandra’s nickname) was seeing another man.

Arevesen was seeing another man. Paul, who was that man, didn’t know that Cassandra was married. As Davidson pointed out, Bill Bell’s remarkable storyline was multi-layered, with the audience not knowing George or Cassandra’s true intentions.

Daytime is famous for cliffhanger Fridays. Well, Davidson offered a teaser on his social media feed as well.

Cassandra tells George, about her wanting to be with Paul, caused Farewell’s character to pass out. He was later told in the hospital that he had a terminal disease and only had months to live. Rawlins hired a hitman but died soon thereafter due to mysterious circumstances. He’d been killed.
