The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Tries To Get Back At Phyllis Summers

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has quite an axe to grind with Phyllis. After all, it was Phyllis who lost Sally her job at JCV Collective after exposing her complicity with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) running Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of the country. Phyllis told Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) her proof and Lauren fired Sally, who had gotten Summer’s job when Summer left!

Sally decides to get back at Phyllis by trying to split her and Nick up and puts doubt in his mind about Phyllis’ relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Phyllis and Jack were married long ago, so long ago in fact that Jack delivered Summer when Phyllis went into labor in an elevator!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Has Been Snooping And Tells Nick Newman Phyllis Summers Is With Jack Abbott Way Too Much

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Sally has been snooping and insinuates to Nick that Phyllis has been with Jack way too much for them only to be friends. While Nick knows better than to take Sally’s insinuations at face value, it does get him to thinking. Nick does start to wonder if maybe deep down Phyllis does have some residual romantic feelings for Jack. After all, as viewers of The Young and The Restless have noticed, as well as Nick, she does seem to be very protective over Jack.

Phyllis had meddled many times trying to warn Jack about Sally when they were dating, and her warnings had finally sunk in. Nick considers whether Phyllis was giving the warnings as a friend or possibly because of some deep down jealousy. Sometimes it is difficult to tell between deep friendship and old romantic love when there is no rift between former lovers or spouses.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman And Phyllis Summers Have A Sit Down

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Nick and Phyllis too were close friends and co-parents to Summer as she was growing up. Nick considers that their close friendship again has blossomed into love, based on long-buried feelings. Sally’s insinuations do make sense based on his and Phyllis’ reconciliation after many years, and so he tells Phyllis that he wants to talk about something with her. Phyllis and Nick have a sit down in a private place and Nick blindsides her a little bit with his question!

He wants to know that if he were not in the picture, would she and Jack be back together? Nick goes to great pains to explain it is only a curiosity question, not any insecurity on his part. However, Phyllis knows these questions had to be stirred up by Sally and she’s furious at her! Nick and Phyllis talk things out honestly and any question of her and Jack getting back together romantically is put to rest. However, as longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless know, their history with each other is a little hard to ignore, and the question could come up again!
