Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is fresh off her forced break from Nick’s pesky brother. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) resisted bonding with Sally, then did so, only to recently cut ties with her without warning.

Case and Morrow have been part of the cast since 1994. Easy math has their thirtieth anniversaries arriving in two years. It is hard to image that much time has passed since TPTB SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) Nick to later teenager status and added Sharon as his first true love.

It continues to feel odd that Sharon and Nick have not been written back together, with fans left to speculate about the philosophy that has driven a decision that has persisted through various regimes.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Has Changed

Sharon is far from the young lady who lived with her mother, Doris Collins (Karen Hensel), in the neighboring town of Madison, Wisconsin. That character reference, along with Sharon’s realized pursuit of the girl, Cassie Johnson (the character’s original last name, as played by Camryn Grimes), who she gave up for adoption, seems like ages ago in real and soap time.

Gone too are the days when Sharon was unstable. Among other accomplishments, she became a certified counsellor, is the sole proprietor of Crimson Lights, remains a wonderful mother to her children, which includes Cassie’s eventually revealed identical twin, Mariah Copeland (Grimes), married a good man, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), who Nick became friends with, and beat cancer.

Nick used to be reckless. Life as Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) son caused Nick’s ego to be ten sizes too big.

But as the years passed, Cassie’s devastating death, along with other losses, and through reflection, Nick mellowed. So, is he ready to revisit romance with his first love, or will the modern edition of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Sally, turn his head?

Sharon and Nick fans shy away from believing remarriage will happen, as they were burned twice before. But all Y&R fans know that Case and Morrow will deliver whatever their storylines.

      Please not Nick and nickers off for all my bosses Sally. Put her with Victor if she must drop her draws for everyone one she works with. Or here’s something new, how about she hook-up with Victoria. I mean, no luck with men Victoria must be ready for a change and she is the boss so Sally should be willing.

      Both times when Sharon and Nick were at the alter I was so hoping nothing would get between them but something always does. I have always wanted them back together since they split. I am happy he is no longer with Phyllis though. She is a total whacko. When Nicki, Ashley and Phyllis are all together talking about Diane all I can see is 3 old biddies with nothing better to do. I’m praying that all will backfire on them. They need to come down a peg or two. All of them have caused trouble in their past so how come they are ok now but Diane’s not? It’s so immature & stupid. Another thing I have never understood the clothes Victoria wears to work. Slits up to here and necklines down to there and those stupid off the shoulder dresses she and Phillis are so fond of certainly doesn’t look like the clothes of a professional woman. Now Sally is doing a great job in that department. She looks very professional like the CEO should look. Keep up the good work Sally. Sorry guys. Got carried away.
